Inclement Weather Policy
When the Springfield Public Schools are closed due to bad weather, the church offices will be closed, and all scheduled evening activities will be canceled for that day.
Depending on the conditions, the Pastor and Administrator may choose to close offices and activities proactively, even before the schools make a decision, if their timing affects the safety of our church members or other circumstances require it.
The safety of our church family and friends is our primary concern during inclement weather.
Communication regarding closures or cancellations will be as follows: In the event of weather potentially cancelling worship or other activities, information will be posted as soon as possible in three ways:
- Visit our website at www.fbcspringfield.com for a popup message or announcement.
- Check our Facebook page.
- Check for any notifications in the Church Center app on your phone.
