Designed to Help Children Grow in Their Understanding of God
We want to introduce children to Jesus Christ and challenge them to become lifelong followers of Him. We accomplish this goal by using a variety of teaching methods that are designed to engage the children in active learning that will lead to an understanding of God and His Word.
SUNDAY MORNING @ 9:30 AM
Children’s Sunday Bible Study at First Baptist is the backbone of the Children’s Ministry. In the unique settings and through the engaging teaching methods, our children learn biblical concepts and how to apply them to their everyday lives. Each Sunday, we offer several small groups based on age group and then meet at the end for a bible study with all age groups.
This year, our Sunday Bible Study curriculum is “The Gospel Project for Kids”. The Gospel Project is a Christ-centered Bible study resource that follows a chronological timeline of Bible events—presenting the story of redemption through Jesus like kids have never seen it before! Each week, these stories come to life through video, music, activities, and more
WEDNESDAY EVENING @ 6:00 PM
Children 4 years old through 6th grade can participate in Music & Missions. Throughout the course of Music & Missions, children learn the value of worship and music by singing, playing instruments and recognizing musical notes. During Missions, the children learn about missionaries and have opportunities to participate in mission activities.
The music section of the night begins at 6:00 pm.
